GUIDED TOUR | Boat lift, Neuffossé canal and Fontinettes lock

In the company of our mediators, explore the outside of the Fontinettes Boat Lift and contemplate the grandeur of the human engineering that made navigation possible on this good old Neuffossé canal, which has seen many barges pass through it!

Then head off to the boat lift's visitor areas to travel back in time to 1967 and meet Jacques, the boat lift's caretaker, who will tell you all about the little anecdotes that make up the great history of this extraordinary monument.

Guided tour (45 minutes) then access to the Fontinettes Boat Lift interpretation centre for an autonomous audio-guided tour (approx. 45 minutes).
